HBO Tapped Team Epiphany to produce a premiere screening, and panel discussion event to promote the fifth installment of HBO’s documentary series, East of Main Street: Taking the Lead in New York City.

In may of 2015, HBO welcomed a captive audience of over 220 guests, primarily of multicultural entertainment insiders, celebrities, influencers, and press to watch the newest installment. The premiere screening was followed by a panel and Q&A discussion with the talent from the film, moderated by radio personality Miss Info.

The event featured ‘night market stands’, through which guests mingled and enjoyed signature small bites by NYC eateries. To creatively amplify the documentary’s core message of individual expression, a video “Shout out booth” was installed; in which attendees were encouraged to give a shout out of their own. This not only generated future content, but also increased the mindshare around the documentary.

Total press impressions rocketed to 82.9 mm, with social impressions reaching 9.2mm.
